The Procurement function is a critical enabler ensuring a secure, sustainable, and dependable flow of raw materials and services to support the company’s operations. As the Global Category Lead for Professional Services the role is pivotal in managing intricate value chains associated with Professional Services on a global scale. Responsibilities will include developing procurement strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient supplier relationships. You will be instrumental in driving cost savings, optimising processes, and contributing to the success of new product launches.

• Managing Professional services involves intricate data capture and analysis of information spanning different regions. Coordinating key stakeholders across marketing, legal, operations, finance, and logistics in diverse locations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners and the relevant industry & their distributors globally is essential. Balancing cost considerations with long-term collaboration.
• Strategic sourcing introduces risks related to quality, delivery delays, and geopolitical factors. Developing contingency plans and ensuring supply resilience are critical.
• Cost Out: Using data and category insights to deliver cost out plans to forecast movements for company planning processes & maximise margin accretion for growth markets/categories.
• Regulatory Compliance: Navigating regulatory requirements specific to ingredients (such as safety standards, ESG regulations, environmental impacts and export/import Incoterms) across diverse markets is essential.

Preferred Experience will Include

• Cost modelling experience & in-depth Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) understanding is essential.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills to build long term relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
• Strong acumen and understanding of contract development and commercial terms essential.
• Strong data/financial analysis skills
• Ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry dynamics to inform category strategies and make decisions.
• In depth knowledge of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle management.
• Understanding of ethical and sustainable practices and working collaboratively with sustainability teams to ensure responsible sourcing strategies.
