SKILLSOOP is proud to partner exclusively with a leading FMCG organisation to appoint a Procurement Manager – ANZ. This newly created, high-impact role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director and will be responsible for driving strategic procurement outcomes across a $150 million portfolio comprising critical and direct materials including co-packing, manufacturing, and raw materials.
The Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing commercial category strategies aligned with the broader ANZ business objectives. This includes identifying, onboarding, and managing contract manufacturers to ensure a sustainable, cost-effective, and scalable supply base that aligns with the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline, achieving >95% On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery over a 2–3-year horizon. A key focus of the role will be leading the re-engineering of sourcing and onboarding processes for global contract manufacturing within the ANZ business unit, as well as managing complex commercial negotiations and contractual arrangements to ensure optimal terms and continuity of supply.
Risk management is critical, with the successful candidate expected to proactively identify and mitigate supply risks arising from geopolitical, market, and regulatory changes. Additionally, the role is accountable for delivering year-on-year cost savings and leveraging data insights to support business planning and margin enhancement initiatives. The Procurement Manager will lead reporting activities across the contract manufacturing category to support key decision-making forums including S&OP, Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and Executive and Commercial Management Team (CMT) meetings.
This role requires close collaboration with internal functions such as operations, logistics, finance, and sustainability, as well as external partners across a global network of contract manufacturers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ESG compliance, modern slavery risk management, and adherence to APCO requirements through robust supplier engagement and data integrity.
The ideal candidate will possess deep experience managing complex supply chains within contract manufacturing environments and demonstrate strong commercial acumen, negotiation capabilities, and stakeholder management skills. Prior exposure to categories such as packaging and ingredients sourcing is advantageous, as is familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality systems, and their application in commercial agreements.
A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, the Procurement Manager will also support broader procurement transformation by mapping and segmenting the ANZ co-manufacturing portfolio—including categories such as vegetables, pickles, and desserts—to identify value opportunities and develop fit-for-purpose supply strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, values-driven organisation during a phase of growth and innovation.
